DESCRIPTION:
As part of the
topic “Food” we are making pizzas in the English class.
Session 1: we introduce
the topic. With a few games we decide which ingredients we are going to use. Session 2: we agree that to be a proper cook we need a hat, and we also need to talk to the school cook since we’ll need to use the oven in the school’s kitchen. We make and decorate our hats. Kids take a note home telling their parents they need to bring an apron to school for the occasion. Session 3: we review the ingredients and the steps and let the kids prepare the pizzas. We work in groups of 4. When they are ready, we take them to the kitchen, and we bring them back to the classroom when they are cooked. The children
enjoy their pizzas!
