DESCRIPTION:

There will be a party to celebrate the end of the course in the high school. Our classroom has been asked to cook some cakes for the party. We should recommend the best option if we only have 30 € to buy the ingredients (more than 75 people could come to the party).

FIRST SESSION:

1.1. First of all, the class needs to be divided into teams.

2.2.   Each team will choose two cooking recipes of the pdf document “Selection mug cake recipes”.

3.3.   Each team should make a list of the required ingredients to elaborate the recipes.

4.4.   Each team should look for the price of the ingredients in three different websites from different online shops: two supermarkets and a gourmet shop.

5.5.   The final task will consist in selecting the best option to balance the best price and the highest quality of the products.

6.6.   Each group should send a document with its task to the virtual classroom of the subject.

    SECOND SESSION:

7.  Each team should defend its task to the rest of the group.

8   8.   Each team should assess the tasks of the other groups.

9.  9.   The best valued task will be the proposal of the class to the party planning committee.
