We have spent several previous lessons reading and working with the story Beauty and the Beast, we have even taken a test on it.

Our previous lessons also dealt with food and the past of the verb To Be : there was, there were, etc.

The last unit introduces the future tense: WILL.

   1st session:

The invitations are displayed and praised by the teacher, we imagine the wedding and the following questions are dictated and copied individually:

2.   What were Beauty and the Beast wearing?

3.   What food was there?

4.   What happened after the meal?

Then the students are arranged in groups of 4, being aware of mixing different abilities students.

The groups of 4 answer the questions and design the wedding reception menu (starters, main course and dessert) which should include vegetarian dish, gluten free option and a trendy, exotic dish.

We spend the first minutes of the class watching the following video to remind them that a vegetarian dish should appear in the menu.

They spend the rest of the class working in groups preparing their presentation describing the wedding and the menu.

3rd session:

We dedicate the class to listen to the groups speaking about the wedding they planned.

We finish the class writing strips of paper with their predictions about the just married couple to be included in the fortune cookies.
